It’s holiday time and there are lots of parties and gatherings. Of course we want to look our best. Have you ever been in a situation where you need your hair washed and you don’t have time? It looks dirty or oily, or even a little sweaty after working out? I have the solution!
Dry Shampoo! Some of you natural lock ladies know about it, but I come to find that sooo many sisters don’t know anything about it. Dry Shampoo should be a weave wearer’s best friend and anyone else who finds that their hair tends to get oily often.
There are plenty of brands out there and they all work pretty much the same way. Spray the dry shampoo into your hair and let it sit for a few minutes and the brush it with a boar’s hairbrush vigorously to remove the powder substance. Please read the directions! Dry shampoos generally come in various colors to match closest to your hair color. If you are on a tight budget, try hairspray and baby powder, they will work similar as the dry shampoo. Try a little at a time. An extra tip: If you are having a hard time brushing it out, use a blow dryer on low air to assist. Then continue to style as usual. Straight or curls, have fun with it!
So don’t get caught between washes with no time to head to the salon and no dry shampoo. It should be in your hair cabinet just like the Mason Pearson brush. Enjoy the tip!
